To Snape Maltings for the Brazilian-themed Flipside festival. The weather turned from high summer to low autumn in a few hours. Big black clouds banked up over our heads from the West as we stood around waiting for coffee from the stall – Only £2 for a cappaccino – not the £2.50 I had predicted.
Good live Brazilian music in a huge open tent with lots of good Brazilian food.
Great to see the best of other cultures in our county. Though I wonder that it appeared that no Brazilians from Ipswich were involved. It would be a shame if they weren’t invited. Ethnic minorities in our county need all the moral support they can get at this time, given the anti-immigrant atmosphere that is being generated as a political tool by UKIP.
